3/14 KOSHA NIDRA

In this cozy cocoon of a class you’ll be held in a guided meditation that brings you into experiential awareness of each of your koshas. In yoga philosophy, the koshas are five layers that cover the true self, Atman. Using traditional yoga nidra techniques like rotation of consciousness and guided imagery, we will take our time to land into each layer and witness what it has to show us in the present moment. You will leave with a sachet of herbal tea and a journal with prompts and body maps designed to keep the practice vibrating like a tuning fork in your bones. Follow the echoes as they take you into stillness. ​​​​​
4/18 BREATH + SOUND
$25 — 4/18 — 5:30-6:45p
In this workshop you will be guided through a series of traditional pranayam + other breath practices to deepen the felt sense of your subtle body. Waves of sound will course over you and through you as breathe and dissolve deeper into connection with your own frequency. Surrender into the stream of your breath — trust it will carry you exactly where you need to go.​​​​​
5/9 Yin + Cupping
Tune into and directly experience the distinct + interwoven layers of your physical body through the lens of yin yoga + cupping. Cupping is a traditional healing art that complements the long holds and curious inner exploration of yin by gently lifting your tissue — promoting increased local blood flow and decreased tension. We will bookend the workshop with a body scan that wraps you in awareness from the top layer of your skin all the way down to the marrow of your bones. Give yourself this time to feel into your body’s tides and follow wherever the flow takes you. Please wear loose clothing to maximize access to your skin — don’t worry, the room will be warm.
